In the first phase of this project, the SSID of the wireless network was "WiFi4EU", and the bundle gateway will be directly accessible with a single click, that is, without any type of password. It is also possible to add an additional SSID for internal use of the beneficiary, such as Belgium Email List management questions, employees, etc. A third SSID can also be added for secure connections locally. In the second phase of the program, the additional common SSID must be protected to use a common EU-wide authentication service.
by the selected access points
Some features that installed Wi-Fi access points must meet are:

Dual simultaneous band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and 2T2R MIMO: installed access points must be simultaneously in dual band, with at least 2 × 2 MIMO, so we will have access points of class AC1200 or higher. This is absolutely necessary to provide real speed of 30Mbps to different users.
It supports the Wi-Fi AC Wave 1 standard at least, although Wi-Fi AC Wave 2 is recommended for MU-MIMO and a number of other improvements.
It allows the connection of up to 50 simultaneous users without reducing its performance too much, adhering to the 30Mbps rule.
Supports 802.11k/v/r standards for efficient Wi-Fi Roaming between access points
Compliant with Wi-Fi Alliance 2.0 Access Point
Central management from all access points of each WiFi4EU network.
Support cycle is greater than 5 years and MTBF (mean time between failures) is at least 5 years.
Access points that meet WiFi4EU requirements
The manufacturer D-Link has launched on the market two access points specially designed for this EU project. We have two models, one for indoor environments and the other for outdoor environments, both with similar technical characteristics and always adapted to all the technical requirements of access points.
